Orientation information

New and Returning Student Orientation Information

Enrolled students will receive orientation documents at their home address prior to the beginning of the school year.  All documents should be completed and returned during orientation.  Orientation is for both new and returning HSECA students.

Student Transportation to HSECA Programs

For student safety and the commercial nature of the program location, students should not drive to the HSECA Downtown Market Programs (Therapeutics and Diagnostics).  Parking is limited for Grand Valley State University students and staff at the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Professionals associated with the Biomedical Technology program.

Students may drive to the Kent Career Technical Center main campus, 1655 E. Beltline and park.  A driving permit is required for student parking at the KC/TC campus.  A shuttle bus is provided from the Kent Career Technical Center  Main Campus (1655 E. Beltline) to the GVSU and Downtown Market HSECA programs.

If the Kent Career Technical Center is closed no shuttle service is provided.
