About Applied Construction Technology
Students excited by building structures, reading plans, woodworking and material selection may be the perfect fit for this program. Residential framing, installing windows, completing exterior and interior work, using hand and power tools, learning building codes and principles of Green Construction are just some of what this program has to offer.
This two-year program covers all aspects of residential construction. You can earn your 10-hour MiOSHA safety certification during the first year in the program, which means you’ll be eligible to actually work in the field – even before you graduate.
